Slightly Scarlet is Now Live

Brace yourself, world: I have a blog.

My first project is to watch all the Academy Award-winning films I’ve missed over the years in the categories of Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor and Best Actress. I may branch out to the other categories later, but as of now, my goal is to basically hit the highlights.

First up is The Last Command (von Sternberg, 1928) which helped Emil Jannings win Best Actor at the first-ever Academy Awards ceremony. For now, an evocative photo. Later, an actual post.
